We are looking for people already located in or near to Dinslaken, who love to work with children aged 3 months to 19 years in small groups and have perfect knowledge of the English language, at mother tongue level in both written and spoken English.
The Helen Doron English teaching method prides itself in teaching English to children naturally through fun and play. The teaching method has been developed by the British linguist Helen Doron 35 years ago and has been updated continuously ever since. We offer candidates the opportunity to attend a teacher training course and qualify as a Helen Doron Early English teacher with an International Diploma. Our next 5 days teacher training course will take place in March 2021. Employment can only be offered upon passing this course. To maintain high standards of education and to keep our fantastic reputation, we only consider candidates with excellent speaking and writing skills in English, similar to mother tongue level.
As a Learning Centre teacher you will work in close cooperation with the Learning Centre Manager and the other teachers. Income varies according to the hours taught per month (part-time & full-time positions available).

Aufgaben und Pflichten
At Helen Doron we offer a wide range of specialised English courses, organised by ability and age, ranging from 3 months to 19 years. Usually, each group is taught once a week, and lessons last between 45 and 90 minutes. Using Helen Doron’s unique methodology and teaching material provided by each learning centre, you will teach your groups actively in English through music, play and fun. German (A2+) is required to communicate with parents before and after lessons, to discuss students’ progress. As a Helen Doron Teen English teacher you will be expected to teach various Grammar and writing skills in a creative and fun way, while helping students achieve great grades at school, alongside one of our well constructed Teen English courses.
Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
– Excellent standard of English (written and spoken) similar to mother-tongue level, and be able to teach English Grammar and writing skills.
– Candidates must already be located within 8 KM of our learning centre (Dinslaken).
– Qualifications to teach English are preferred, e.g. CELTA, TEFL, Degree in Education or English.
– Candidates must be able to work afternoons and Saturdays.
